Green is for Christmas, the Evergreen tree;
It is living and growing and glowing for me.
White is for Christmas, the snowflakes that fall;
Blanketing Earth in a stillness for all.
Gold is for Christmas, engraved is the thought,
"To love one another and do what we ought."
Blue is for Christmas, the blue of the night,
When shepherds and Wise Men, followed the light.
Red is for Christmas, the heart of a child,
That's beating and throbbing, with love, mercy mild.
All colors make Christmas, behold their bright hues!
Wishing you gladness and bringing good news.
It's the birthday of Jesus, our Savior this day.
